Installation & Setup
Follow these step-by-step instructions to install and activate Localization System Pro in your Unreal Engine 5 project.
Prerequisites
Before installing, make sure your development environment satisfies the following requirements:
- Unreal Engine 5.1 or newer installed via the Epic Games Launcher.
- An active Unreal Engine C++ or Blueprint project.
- Permissions to add plugins to your engine or project `Plugins/` folder.
Installation Steps
- Download and install the plugin from the Fab / Epic Games Launcher Marketplace.
- Open your target Unreal Engine 5 project.
- Navigate to the top menu bar: Edit > Plugins.
- In the search box, type "Localization System Pro".
- Check the Enable box next to the plugin name.
- Click Restart Now when prompted by the Unreal Editor to apply the plugin changes.
💡 Pro Tip
If you are working with a C++ project, you can also clone or move the plugin into your project's root Plugins/LocalizationSystemPro folder and rebuild solution files.
Verification
Once the engine restarts, verify the installation by checking if Localization System appears under Edit > Project Settings > Game.
